Game 2

So Montreal lost to Washington on Saturday and I have postponed writing about it due to being depressed over it. Why am I so depressed over it? Montreal was winning 4 - 1 and in the last period fell apart. The game went into OverTime and Washington scored within the first minute of the OverTime period to win the game 6 - 5. Andrei Kostitsyn scored a hat trick (3 goals), while Gionta opened up the scoring for the game one minute into the first period, and Plekanec scored last for Montreal at the five minute mark in the third period. This game did not leave Ovechkin point less or shot less. Ovi had 1 goal and 3 assists, while having a total of 6 shots on net. Hopefully Montreal will be able to pull off a huge up set in Game 3 now that it will be on home soil.
